About the award



Sharjah Award for the best Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences in the Arab Region, has been established in 2001, under the kind patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qassimi- the Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and current Ruler of the Sharjah emirate- “God bless him “. The Award has been developed in April 2014 to become the Sharjah Award for Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences in the Arab region to further accommodate the administrative and financial studies.

The Secretariat of Sharjah Award for Best Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences in the Arab region in cooperation with Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) and under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qassimi, it has been announced and paved the way in front of the scientific researchers in order to be awarded the Sharjah Award for the Doctoral Dissertations in the Administrative Sciences, in the Arab region, in a ceremony to be held on an annual basis for celebrating the winners.

About the Award

The Award aims to honor and encourage the outstanding researchers through selecting the best doctoral dissertation in the field of administrative sciences in order to develop theoretical and empirical knowledge in management and administrative development in the Arab world. Sharjah Government, Sharjah University and the Arab Administrative Development Organization cooperate together in this effort.
